Peter is the Captain of Cruising at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club and skipper of Dofesaba 11.  In 2024 he was asked by his son, Barnaby, to accompany him on a nice short walk during the summer, so as to do some family bonding.  It didn't quite turn out that way.  The Camino del Norte, or Northern Way, is a pilgrimage route in Spain that is about 828 - 860 kilometers (515 - 535 miles) long.  It takes about five weeks to walk the entire route.
