BDMLR are a charity with over 2,000 trained volunteers across the UK acting as a frontline response service for marine mammals that may be in need of help reported via a 24-hour helpline. The talk will provide insight into the species of marine mammals typically seen around the UK coastline along with a number of call out stories from local incidents including a dolphin stranded at Hayling Island, a seal rescue from the Isle of Wight and Thor, the Calshot Walrus!
